For all distances:
- Proper trekking shoes and a good pair of socks (optional: extra pair for the 42 or 80 km, just in case)
- Dress wisely (sun protection / rainwear)
- Extra snacks (optional)
- Medication (optional)
For the 80 km:
- Headlight / flashlight, reflecting gear
- Warm clothes
The organisation advises against making serious efforts while not being prepared sufficiently. Choose your distance wisely and run at a pace that your body is used to.
A medical certificate isn't obligatory. People have to draw their own conclusions from the information they receive from a medical check-up. The organisation is not responsible for that.
