Tour of Flanders Business Academy is an event where business, society and cycling meet and cross-pollinate each other. It's a unique physical, mental and sensory experience. Values such as sportsmanship, drive and community are not only central but they are also experienced by the participants.
At the Tour of Flanders Business Academy, you will complete the final of the Tour of Flanders in the company of fellow sportive business leaders. Offer your guests a unique experience, enjoy delicious food and listen to our keynote speaker's experiences.
Heroes are not always the ones who win, they are the ones who lose. Sometimes, but they keep fighting, they keep coming back and they never give up. That's what makes them heroes!
Heroes inspire us because they achieved the extraordinary. Their personal stories make them recognisable to all of us. Heroes evoke memories. They are not made after one achievement. They achieve their status by repeating results. That makes them superhuman.
"With the 'Tour of Flanders Business Academy', we aim to invite a top-class speaker to Flanders each year. This can be someone from the world of cycling, but could just as easily be a representative of another sport or another aspect of our society.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are forced to replace our key note speaker, Lance Armstrong, next Friday 30 March in Oudenaarde at the first Tour of Flanders Business Academy.
"It is with great sadness and regret that, due to a very serious family and personal matter, I cannot attend this years Tour of Flanders. Without going into too much detail, and out of respect for my family's privacy, I must stay close to my home here in Texas to deal with the situation. I'm very happy that Wouter Vandenhaute was able to find a great speaker for the Tour of Flanders business academy event in the person of Roberto Martinez, the coach of the Belgian Football Team, The Red Devils. I'm sure he has a very interesting story to tell and have been told he's a great fan of cycling."
