How do I get to the ING Brussels Marathon?

  • By plane: Brussels airport. From there you can take a taxi or a train to the centre of Brussels. You will find the station at the airport at level -1. The Airport City Express leaves for Brussels Central station at regular intervals (the journey costs € 2,60 and lasts 20 minutes). From there you can get connections to other stations in Belgium and Brussels.
  • By train: get out at Brussels Central Station: the Grand Place is a five-minute walk away. To get to the start from the Central Station, take the metro to "Merode" (at the Parc du Cinquantenaire). Both stations are on the same line (1). Click here for a plan of the metro
  • By car to the start: from the ring follow the E0 following directions to the Centre/Centrum. At the end of the E40 follow the tunnels towards "Montgomery". Turn right at the Montgomery roundabout. You will see the Triumphal Arch of the Parc du Cinquantenaire in front of you.

  • By bus to the start: 22,27,80 - bus stop at Galliërs; 61 - bus stop at Merode.
  • With the tram to the start: 82 - tram stop at Merode.

From the start to the finish
  • Take the metro (line 1) from Merode (close to the Parc du Cinquantenaire) to De Brouckère (close to the Grand Place)
