Kim Clijsters is a true and magnificent winner of the Proximus Diamond Games. In the final she beat Farina Elia in straight sets. Els Callens made the party perfect by winning the title in the ladies doubles.

Together with Cara Black Els Callens performed well during the final of the ladies doubles. "We didn't have any problems. Of course, it is something special to take a title in your hometown."
