BRUSSELS HALF MARATHON : the total distance of the course between the Parc de la Cinquantenaire and the stock exchange is 21.594 km. As such, the first 497m will be neutralised and the official timekeeping of the half marathon (21,097 km) will start at the Rue de Belliard at the "kilometre 0" sign.

By plane

From Brussels National Airport you can take a taxi or a train to the Brussels city center. The airport building has a train station at level -1, with a regular Airport City Express connection to Brussels Central Station. This train takes 20 minutes. From Brussels Central Station you can take the Metro lines 1 or 5 towards Merode (Parc du Cinquantenaire), or you can get another connection to your final destination.

By train

Brussels Midi station has connections to Paris, Lille, Cologne and London through the Thalys or Eurostar lines. There are daily international connections from The Netherlands to Brussels. Every Belgian station is connected to Brussels.

By car

Those coming by car can use one of the six transit parking lots on the edge of the city. You can park here for free and take the train or metro to the Parc du Cinquantenaire. We strongly discourage driving up to the Parc du Cinquantenaire, as no parking is provided there.

On Sunday 1 October, the Belfius Brussels Marathon will take place. Around 15 000 runners from 40 countries will participate this year. It is important to take traffic inconveniences into account. Depending on your location on the course your street will be traffic-free and it will not be possible to park between between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The organization will work together with the police to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and aim to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
